Dead Lands of Volaand

The monster within...

Thunder stared out at the dark and dry place known as the dead-lands.
He was forced to leave everything he cared for so deeply, behind.
His family.

What would they think of him now?
Did they miss him?
Or did they hate him for leaving?
Will he even be able to fix things when he sees them again...?
Will he ever return?

He sighed. Those emotions probably meant nothing now since the damage was done.
They might forgive him over time or they might not, who knows?
Sitting down with his once proud head bowed, and his shoulders haunched, all meaning in his life was now gone.
'Forgive me Hunter,' he thought.
Drowning in self pity, his eyes became blurry, leaving a place was never this hard.
Just before the first tears were about to fall, he saw an eagle circling around the dark sun.
It gave him hope.

This might be the the end of Star, but Loki will live on.  And with him the heart and Soul of Thunder himself.
The will to live was too powerful to destroy him now, As long as he has the strength to breathe then he will never leave this world!
Rising his head high once more he was ready to face his fate.
Standing up with the power welling up inside him, he walked forward.
Forward into the land of death!
